• EAPD - Equine Assisted Professional Development, is an innovative method of experiential learning that uses horses not as tools but as active participants to help humans. A horses’ reaction, or lack of it, to a human enables us to better understand our human relations.
• Learning with humour increases our positivism. This method is very dynamic and offers the opportunity for fun. 93% of our communication is non-verbal and yet we make a tremendous emphasis on the remaining 7% which is verbal. With EAPD we become aware of what messages we are sending out and how to correct and improve them, if need be. We learn to become congruent between our emotions and our acts.
• By means of exercises which are done on the ground (the horse is never ridden), we are able to identify where our strengths are, where our weaknesses are, where we excel and what is better left aside.
• In many cases to experience such changes has a profound impact on one’s life. |
